Volunteer at the BMC Cup

Giving opportunities to people in and out of the water

Team Registration – Autumn Festival

BMC Cup Volunteering

Volunteers are an essential part of any successful event and The BMC Cup is no different. In fact, it would simply not be possible for the BMC Cup to take place without people kindly giving up their time, so we really appreciate any contribution you can make.

Please let us know what role(s) you would like to help with by completing the sign up form below and we will get back to you nearer the time.

A brief description of each role can be found below but please get in touch if you have any questions at all –  theBMCcup@gmail.com.

Table Official

No formal qualification is required; however, volunteers should be confident in managing table duties independently and without additional support.

Referee

A recognised refereeing qualification is required. For our U18 events, we ask that volunteers have experience refereeing at U19 level or above. New or less experienced referees are strongly encouraged to volunteer at our Autumn Festival, where they can gain valuable experience and receive feedback from our delegates.

Merchandise Stall

This role involves promoting and selling BMC Cup merchandise, raffle tickets and bake sale items. Volunteers will also be a key point of contact for players, coaches and spectators, so a friendly, welcoming and professional manner is essential.

Live Stream

This role supports the delivery of the event live stream, helping family and friends who are unable to attend to watch the games remotely. It also ensures players can enjoy watching back key moments from their matches after the event.

Announcer

This role involves providing commentary during games, managing music and making event announcements throughout the weekend in a clear, engaging and professional manner.

Runner

This role is well suited to a younger player who is not yet competing but would still like to be involved in the BMC Cup. Responsibilities include collecting match sheets from the poolside table after each game and delivering them promptly to the social media team so results can be updated on the website and social channels.

Event Manager

This role supports the behind-the-scenes organisation and smooth running of the BMC Cup. If you are interested in taking on a more involved event management role, please get in touch for further information.
